Additional Information

Brewery de Posthoorn was founded in 1806 in Tilburg the former duchy of Brabant, located in Holland. The brewerys name was chosen due to its location next to the place where postal carriages arrived. In the 18th and 19th century, the post horn was used to signal the arrival and departure of the postal carriages. While waiting for the postal carriages, people enjoyed the brewerys fine beer.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.

Below are some notes to help identify some of these changes and an aid to reference the year of the glass.
