The Königsbacher Brauerei is a brewery in Koblenz, in the Rhineland-Palatinate state of Germany. The brewery was founded in 1689, in 1992 the Königsbacher Brewery was taken over by the Karlsberg Group and in 2010 the Königsbacher brands (but not the brewery) were sold to the Bitburger group. In 2012 the brewery building was sold and is now a private brewery called the Koblenzer Brauerei.

Over the years the brand identity is updated and re-launched with subtle changes, a change of Logo or a new font.
Sometimes this brand update is done by the new owners after a brewery has been sold, other times just to give the brand a fresh new look on the ever growing market.
